Special explosion-proof versions are available when flammable solvents are required.
Overview
The Centrifuge Binder Extractors by Controls SPA feature a removable precision-machined rotor bowl housed in a cylindrical aluminium box, driven by an electric motor fitted with an AC drive inverter. The inverter performs the dual function of speed control up to 3600 rpm regardless of supply frequency (50 or 60 Hz) and electrical braking. The rotating unit is suspended on the base by four calibrated springs that assure perfect stability throughout the entire test cycle.
All Centrifuge Binder Extractors are supplied complete with 100 filter discs and feature a secure hand brake system for emergency use. The cover is precisely machined and fitted with a solvent-resistant gasket to prevent leakages during centrifugation.

AC Drive Inverter Motor: The Centrifuge Binder Extractors are driven by a 550W AC drive motor with inverter technology for precise speed control up to 3600 rpm at both 50 and 60 Hz supply frequencies. Adjustable Speed Control: The centrifuge can be set for automatic speed ramp up to 3600 rpm or any intermediate speed using the front control knob. A digital display monitors the frequency which is directly proportional to the rotational speed, giving operators full visibility of the extraction process.
Two Capacity Options: Centrifuge Binder Extractors are available in 1500g and 3000g capacity models to suit different laboratory throughput requirements. Both capacities are available in standard and explosion-proof versions.
Explosion-Proof Version: Special explosion-proof models (75-B2222 and 75-B2322) with separate control panel are available for laboratories using flammable solvents. This ensures full safety compliance in environments where standard electrical equipment cannot be used.
CE Safety Upgrade Option: Standard models can be upgraded with an electromagnetic system (75-B2210/UP1) to prevent the opening of the cover during rotation, conforming to CE directive safety requirements. This upgrade must be factory installed.
